What is MintFee?
MintFee is a cloud-based SaaS platform designed for educational academies — including tuition teachers, coaching centres, dance academies, music schools, yoga centres, coding institutes, and training institutes. It helps you manage students, collect fees, track attendance, share study materials, and grow your academy.
Who can use MintFee?
MintFee is built for anyone who runs an educational academy or tutoring business. Whether you are a solo tutor with 5 students or a coaching centre with 500 students, MintFee scales to your needs. It works for tuition classes, coaching centres, dance academies, music schools, yoga centres, spoken English centres, coding institutes, and any training institute.
Do I need to install anything?
No installation required. MintFee is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works directly in your browser. Just visit app.mintfee.com on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop. You can also add it to your home screen for an app-like experience without downloading from any app store.
Does MintFee work outside India?
Yes! MintFee is available in over 50 countries worldwide. It supports multiple currencies (INR, USD, and more), localised date and time formats, and works seamlessly whether you're in India, UAE, UK, USA, Singapore, or anywhere else.
What devices does MintFee support?
MintFee works on any modern web browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. It's fully responsive and works beautifully on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. The mobile-first design ensures a great experience on small screens.
Is MintFee really free?
Yes! MintFee offers a completely free plan that supports up to 30 students with core features including fee collection, attendance tracking, student management, and study materials. No credit card required. You only need to upgrade if you want more students, advanced reports, or extra storage.
What are the paid plan prices?
We offer two paid plans: Standard at ₹299/month (up to 100 students with 1GB storage) and Pro at ₹799/month (up to 500 students with 5GB storage). International pricing is $14.99/month and $39.99/month respectively. All paid plans come with a 7-day free trial.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. There are no long-term contracts or lock-in periods. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your data remains accessible until the end of your billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we offer a 7-day refund window for new subscriptions. If you're not satisfied within the first 7 days, simply contact us at [email protected] and we'll process a full refund. After 7 days, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
What payment methods are accepted?
For Indian users, we accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets via Razorpay. For international users, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal via Paddle. All payments are processed securely.
How does fee collection work?
You can record fee payments for each student — marking them as paid, pending, or partially paid. You can set custom fee amounts per student or batch. MintFee generates digital receipts and tracks all payment history for easy reference and reporting.
Can I track attendance?
Yes! MintFee lets you mark attendance for each student by batch and date. You can view attendance history with visual calendars and percentage-based reports. Parents can also view their child's attendance through the Student Portal.
Can I share study materials with students?
Absolutely. You can upload PDFs, images, documents, and share YouTube video links directly with your students. Materials can be organized by subject or batch. Students access them through their Student Portal link.
What is the Student Portal?
The Student Portal is a dedicated view for parents and students (available on Standard and Pro plans). Each student gets a unique link they can use to view their fee history, attendance records, study materials, announcements, and exam results — all without needing to create an account.
Can I manage multiple batches?
Yes. You can create unlimited batches and organize students by subject, level, timing, or any criteria you prefer. Attendance, fees, and materials can be managed per-batch for easy organisation.
Is my data safe?
Yes. MintFee runs on Cloudflare's global edge network with enterprise-grade security. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each academy's data is isolated in its own database shard, ensuring complete separation. We use Google OAuth for authentication and never store passwords.
How does Google login work?
MintFee uses Google OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication. When you click "Sign in with Google", you are redirected to Google's secure login page. We receive only your name, email, and profile picture — never your Google password. This is the same method used by thousands of trusted services worldwide.
Does MintFee share my data with third parties?
No. We never sell, trade, or rent your data. We only share data with our payment processors (Razorpay and Paddle) for processing subscriptions and with Cloudflare for hosting. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I create an account?
Simply visit app.mintfee.com and click "Continue with Google". Sign in with your Google account, set up your academy profile (name, type, location), and you're ready to start adding students. The entire process takes less than 2 minutes.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You have full control over your data. You can request account deletion from your profile settings in the app. Once requested, all your data — including student records, fee history, and uploaded materials — will be permanently and irreversibly deleted within 30 days.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export your student list, fee records, and attendance data in CSV format from the reports section of your dashboard. We believe your data belongs to you and should always be portable.
